It sounded like a good idea to try other colors too. The blue and teal worked just as well as the gold. The silver however, is a little odd. It looks OK when all is finished but it marks up with finger prints really easily while working with it and they're almost impossible to polish off. One comment I have about the dark blue is not to over work it. If the folds get too overworked, the foil wears away and the white underneath shows through and is VERY visable on the darker colors.

Fascinating commentary on the crafting process... I never thought of things like fingerprints.. that has to be quite a pain indeed! Thank you for your preserverance and the new lovely piece!
